OUR Open Positions
Inventory Coordinator
We are hiring an organized, dependable team member to run our stockroom. You’ll receive and log incoming materials, pack and schedule outgoing shipments, and keep tools, supplies, and job materials stocked, tracked, and easy to find. You’ll also issue tools to coworkers, manage inventory in our computer system, and help keep the shop running smoothly. This is a great fit for someone who likes keeping things in order and helping others get what they need. Forklift experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train.
Machinist II
This is for an experienced Machinist to set up, program, and run mills, lathes, grinders, and other shop equipment. You’ll plan setups and machining sequences from blueprints, adjust programs at the machine to hold tight tolerances, and design fixtures for customer equipment. You’ll also help with quotes and work directly with customers and engineers to solve machining challenges. This role is a great fit for a skilled CNC machinist who enjoys problem solving and sharing their knowledge with others.
Fabricator I
Grow in the trade helping fabricate, assemble, install, and repair custom metal work. You’ll read blueprints, lay out and mark parts, operate shop equipment like shears, saws, and ironworkers, and handle grinding, finishing, and basic welding. Working alongside experienced fabricators, brake operators, and finishers, you’ll build your skills on a variety of equipment. This is a great entry point for anyone with basic welding skills who wants to develop a career in metal fabrication.
Fabricator II
Shickel Corporation is hiring an experienced Fabricator to lay out, fabricate, assemble, and install custom metal work. You’ll read complex blueprints, plan the best approach for each job, and weld using MIG, TIG, and stick across a range of metals. On larger projects, you’ll serve as a working lead and help train newer fabricators. This role is a great fit for a skilled welder who takes pride in quality work and wants to take on more responsibility.
