AISC Certification
Shickel's Quality Management System has been AISC certified as a Building Fabricator with a Complex Coating Endorsement since 2015, covering both structural steel fabrication and coating processes. Independent audits verify our certification regularly, reflecting our long-term commitment to quality.

Our welders are certified to AWS D1.1 (structural steel), AWS D1.6 (stainless steel), and applicable ASME standards. Through ongoing qualification and testing, we maintain the certifications needed to ensure the quality and integrity of every weld.

Shickel meets the U.S. Small Business Administration's definition of a small business and holds a SWaM (Small) certification through Virginia's Department of Small Business & Supplier Diversity.
