Shickel Corporation had the opportunity to install a minimalistic stair in the Integrated Science Center on the campus of William and Mary. The stair was fabricated out of exposed steel channel with clips for the prefabricated treads to sit on. We installed glass handrail around the stair and surrounding balcony using stainless steel standoffs to hold a consistent distance. In addition to the stair, Shickel also installed a curved handrail around a lecture hall.
