Marriott Hotel

This stair engineers a steel structure with an aluminum powder coat finish guard rail and glass. Shickel used a mechanically attached system to achieve the finish and no field welding was involved. The glass guardrail was installed via slots in the guardrail posts, which was unique and possible through the mechanical fastened top cap. Shickel was also asked to build a copper pizza oven, based off several photographs from the architect. We designed and fabricated the oven using a spun metal dome, custom swirl, and translucent powder coat finish.
