Gateway Beehive

The Beehive project was unique in many ways. Due to the odd geometry of the part, Shickel had to 3D model and modify the design for fabrication to create the customer’s vision. The parts with multiple radii that made up the doorway arches were fabricated from several sections of carefully bent pipe and the curved, vertical bars were made from laser cutting steel plate. We were able to meet the high-quality expectations of this project and achieve a beautiful piece through seamless welding and polishing processes.
